BCAM comes to LA

LACMA opened the Broad Contemporary Art Museum, better known as BCAM, on February 16 and already, the Renzo Piano-designed museum is on its way to becoming an LA icon.Bring your family and friends to see the dazzling array of art on view in the new building and enjoy the widely-noted outdoor sculptures as well, including Chris Burden's popular Urban Light, a monumental installation comprised of 202 vintage Southern California streetlamps.
Also not to be missed, LACMA's acclaimed modern galleries, brimming with works by Picasso, Matisse and others. The museum's top-tier permanent collection and the addition of BCAM help to cement Los Angeles' place as one of the great cultural capitals of the world. Stop by soon to see for yourself.
