The Mayor just named Michael LoGrande to be the new Director of the Los Angeles Department of City Planning. Mr. LoGrande's job will be to guide our city’s growth and create a blueprint for the type of city we want to be.
With 13 years of high level planning positions in the city, nobody knows the inner workings of the department, the different neighborhoods of Los Angeles, and the city bureaucracy better than Michael.
Michael's first priority is to improve the planning department's customer service. He understands that planning decisions directly affect the quality of life of Angelenos, and he wants your voices to be heard. He will solicit your feedback on how to update community plans, complete development reform, and how to reorganize the Planning Department to better serve you.
